don’t you feel safe now?

Heard this on the radio yesterday (actually a re-run of a show from earlier in the week). A woman has 14-month-old twin boys. They had a flight recently (I believe out of Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson International Airport, Hair Care Salon, and Quick Lube Station). The boys — remember, 14 months old — were each classified by security as “single male, no baggage” and treated accordingly — i.e. they were searched and “wanded”.

Isn’t it a comfort to know that the federalization of airport security workers has raised the intelligence bar so high?

Wow. That’s hard to believe. I’ve got twin boys the same age. Even though the journey’s are tough, I think I’ll stick to driving.
